Senior Consultant – WMS

The Senior Consultant – WMS, will assist with delivering all phases of WMS engagements, assuring that the developed solutions support the client objectives.

This position requires the ability to confidently set and manage expectations for high value projects at high profile clients.

The Senior Consultant – WMS will embrace a culture of integrity, professionalism and work ethic to assure high value delivery to clients that reinforces the brand and values of Commonwealth Supply Chain Advisors.

Responsibilities

Lead functional and technical discussions with the client including integrating WMS to ERP and MHE systems
Coach others on WMS functional capabilities
Perform the necessary analysis and consultation to identify business issues, solution requirements, and related benefits
Aid in preparing and analyzing project plans and documentation
Work directly with clients to gather an understanding of their business needs and assists the client in configuration and implementation of the software system
Work closely with team members to understand client needs
Implement WMS on-site at clients
Travel to the client site for delivery of solutions, as required

Requirements

In-depth experience with significant roles in multiple WMS implementations
Extensive knowledge of distribution and fulfillment business objectives, operational performance requirements, and customer service expectations
Understanding of the strategic features-functions of an advanced WMS
Experience as an outside consultant in supply chain/distribution preferred
Good analytical skills and detail oriented, ability to understand, integrate, and draw conclusions from multiple sources of qualitative and quantitative data
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment, and ability to connect and build rapport and relationships with internal/external team members
Experience with SQL Server, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to travel 40-60%; relocation not required
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering or field, or comparable business experience
